Yeah mate mines does the same when I forget to turn it off at night, it may be a firmware fault I dont know, your best bet is to turn it off when you go to bed or contact your supplier, It doesnt bother me as like I said I usually turn it off.

If you turn it off at night then your Time/EPG is out by about an hour, so you cant record anything until you fix it. This happens to me aswell every few days. I set a movie to recording at 5:30am one of the days last week and when i came home from work it was stuck on the channel 41 with no picture...switched it off/On again....no movie recorded :(

Yours EPG is out after rebooting as your probably in Ireland?, it doesn't do the same in the UK, I can imagine this being a pain for you and I have seen this problem a few times to do with the EX5000pvr on AD but never got to the bottom of it as of yet, I have asked Scouser for some advice about this and he may be able to help you out, Back soon :)

Can you all do me a favour ukbuldog, bobbyball, ste105

For one night take out your Hard Drive and leave the box on stanby all night and see if the same problem happends in the morning.

Please report back with the outcome!!!
