    Very new newbie.
Recording channels to hard drive no problems.
Play back works for the first 2/3 OK. Any others on the drive just wont play back, Format HD the same thing again, any ideas please.

    Hi
Start by going to Menu/SystemSetup/System Information and tell which Software version/date you have installed. Also important to make sure the loop cable to tuner 2 in fitted correctly as maybe the programs that won't play haven't been recorded. When you go to the HDD PVR List Menu does it give a recording time at the side of the non playing programs? I used to have this problem untill I read a tip that really did work for me, before setting up a new EPG pre recording, switch the receiver off with the remote then back on again, then set the EPG recording. Also try to keep the total number of films recorded on the HD down to 3 or 4 either by watching, deleting or archiving. I know it shouldn't really be like this but many of us just wait for updated S/W to see if a cure appears. EPG is also still slow.

    Hi Jbvid
    Software version E_ver 4.506, 15 Oct 2007
Installation from rear of box 4 connections together
main input cable top right. ( the only one it fits in)
loop cable top left to bottom right.
    bottom left empty.
    Will try your EPG idea.
    You say archive, how?
thanks for the advice and any more will be most welcome.
    cheers Bill Bay.
