I am new to qoob mod chop. After I get the chip installed, what next ? How do I use it ? Should I just put in the game disk and play (this doenot seem to work) or I need to do something more ? Thanks

No. If you have a Qoob Pro, you need to download a BIOS and flasher software. You then hook into the Qoob chip via USB and flash the BIOS. Then, after its installed, simply insert a disc and press power.
How exactly do you "flash the BIOS"? Where can the BIOS be downloaded, and what is good flasher software to download? You use the cord that comes with the Qoob Pro to connect the Qoob to the PC, correct? Please somebody answer that has done this before, and please can I get a detailed response! Thank you.
guid to flash qoob pro 1.download a qoob flasher (you can google around for qoob pro flasher 1.3) or download a flasher on the qoobchip.com website (official webbsiter for qoob) 2. downlaod a bios, 1.3c is the newst one (same as above, goggle around). 3. connect the qoob whit the usb to the pc. 4. open the flasher and press connect to qoob. 5. then press write and look for your bios. 6. dissconnect the qoob and unplug the usb. 7.now you can start playing. Befor you do 3-7 you got to unrar or unzip the files you downloaded. If you want to chose an other background for your qoo, just google aound for an other qoob background and just simly write it in to the qoob (just same as when you write a bios). If you got 2 bakgrounds on the qoob you will be able to chose (i think when you starts up the cube) or on the menue when you press "B". And then there is alot more stuff you can fill your qoob whit but that can i tell you about some other time
Thank you QoobSwe for your good detailed response. I have one more question, though. Does a Qoob SX need to have its BIOS flashed also? Or does the BIOS flashing only need to be done with a Qoob Pro?
you have to flsh sx to but when you want to do that you need to burn the bios on a dvd disk and transfer them that way in to the sx chip.
Would you give some more details on how to flash SX. What do I do once I burn BIO on a DVD, just put in and power on ?
