I got a installation video of some man modding his cube with the Qoob chip. ~ 30 minutes long ~ 125 mb large Just thought it could help people out, as it shows him doing it in real life. Anyone got a ideas where to upload it too??
That video is excellent. It really is a step by step procedure he did. I used that video for my first time installation and it was a breeze. I say re-encode the video to half its size or more and put it up on rapidshare or somethin'. Only thing I couldn't get working was using the pen trick to remove the gamecube screws. I removed one of them but the rest wouldn't budge. Do you have to heat the pen everytime you remove a new screw?
i tried the stupid pen trick a thousand times and not once did it work! (Stupid Idea) What i think the people do is unlossen it first with a screwdriver and then make it look like the've done it with a pen. Or there GameCube screws are not properly screwed in by the manufactour. On my attepts the pen have not even managed to move it a bit. I dont think your ment to re-heat it everytime u do it, but i dont see it making a difference if u do!

The video is great! I just don't like how he tells people to smoke to chill. Well thats my opinion, all in all, good video. _Anti Smoker_
I think to get the pen trick to work, you have to keep the pen situated straight up. If its anywhere on angle, it won't turn properly. At least thats how I got one of the screws off. I tried 10 pens myself and was only successful on one screw. I don't know how the hell that guy got his off so easily.
he probally had the screws allready off, notice how much times he turned or twisted it off. It seems to me its to short
I realise its a pretty old post but has anyone got a working link to that video? It would be really useful right about now!!
