This question is for anyone/everyone who has done a successful mod of the Qoob Pro.
So far everything has gone smoothly in my install process, 5 of 6 wires are nicely soldered into place.

I have tried a few times now, and the solder will not stick to the 5V spot on the gamecube board. Hence, I cant get the wire to stay becauset he solder wont stay :(

Im using .50 solder (from radio shack, also says "for computer board")

Anyhow, I was curious if anyone has run into this same problem? If so, how did you get past the problem?

Any help is of course always appriciated. Thanks! :)

You gotta learn some basics before soldering...

Use soldering paste to get solders stick better. I'm not gonna say what's soldering paste, ask from friend who knows about these things or ask from a store.

One thing you can do is to GENTLY scratch the surface with a knife or something. That'll give it enough grip for you to tape it down.
