hey People, i am new to modding so please excuse me if the question has been asked already. i live in edmonton the home of foundmy.com they only offer the Qoob chips for the gamecube. i have been soft modding my gamecube and have noticed that the agmes work but the cut scenes are choppy and teh musics is choppy as well. from what i have read hard modding is the way to go. My main purpose is to play backup of my games. i don't want to do anything else. from what i have read, the Qoob pro is great but i am wondering if the SX is only what i need to play backup games. so again all i want to play is my gamecube backup'd games should i get the Pro or the SX thanks Prelude38
If you are only going to play backups, I would go with the SX, but if you want more for 10 bucks more well go with the pro. I installed the pro and it's sweet.
well essentially what would straight up end result get you with a pro chip. both basically let you play backed up copies correct... so wouldnt it be smarter to go for the cheaper deal or no haha
Yeah, but the pro has 32 banks of memory in which you can put different bios. For example, I have the Qoob bios 1.3a as the main bios, but I also have Qoob bios 1.3c, Gcom 2.2, Gcos 1.5, cheats, and I can even put a emulator in there if I want. So if you just want to boot up back ups go for the SX, but if you want extras go for the pro.
just wanted to let people know that i went witht he Qoob Pro because foundmy.com didn't have teh SX in stock.
