Just a quick Question for those out there that have the Qoob Chip installed... When streaming the Back-up from the GC to the PC allot of people reccomend doing it by using the method of going to http://192.168.1.32/backup.iso yet I cannot get that to work for anything I load it up and it does nothing anyways Im using Pheonix to back-up the ISO's and so far everything has been great and streaming them back to the Gamecube to play has shown excellent results as well. What Im wondering though is using the Pheonix method to get the ISO, Take out the Garbage, then Burning the ISO work very well with the QOOB or is there allot of problems such as DRE errors and others? Anyone else been succesful with this method? And if not what other method of backing up the GC games should I be using for the best results with the Qoob Pro Chip? thanx
Don't remove the garbage data. I heard it lessens the lifespan of the GC's lens. Burn the image as is after Pheonix rips it and it should be fine.
