Is there a way to flash my qoob sx chip without a broadband adapter. I have it on a disk and I can boot gcos 1.5 and boot my backups from there, but I was wondering if there was any way to do it without using the boot disk everytime? Is there a different bios I should be using? I'm will get a bba if I have to.Thanks in advance.La
Qoob SX can be flashed using a DVD-R... Just get one of the BIOS updaters and run it from a DVD-R like you run GCoS. Once you flash the Qoob SX with it's newer BIOS, it'll be able to play back-ups on it's own without a boot disk.
Sorry to ask so many questions...but is there a name for the updater? I did a google search as well as on this site with no luck. What kind of file will it be?Or a link if it's allowed on ths site. Thanks for your help so far I really appreciate it.
