quake III and video card

    hi i got a laptop with a Intel(R) 82852/82855 GM/GME graphics card.Quake 3 will load sometimes and others it will crash the pc. I cant change the video display in Quake III to my resolution, not there. Does anybody know if there is any patches for Intel graphics chips for quake III

    sorry to disapoint you but those graphics your on about are built in to the motherboard which makes them crap and they probably cant handle quake 3. if you want to play it your gonna need better graphics

    its runs fine but it changes my resolution to do so. i dont think you know

    check intel site for updated drivers & check game site for patches, updates & faq. what is the game requirements fot videocard & ram & how much ram is being used by the card? http://support.intel.com/

    You might try adding a stick of more ram in your computer because your video that's onboard more than likely is sharing the ram onboard.
