QUAKE IV VISTA PROBLEM

So yeah this is a really weird problem. Whenever I try to install it I get a prompt saying "Access Denied!" and it will not let me access the dvd at all. Nothing loads it will not run the dvd (I have the DVD version of the game). I am using the cracked version of Windows Vista Ultimate and I do not have this problem with other games.

Anybody have an idea of what this is and how to fix it?

Cracked OS? Not a clue.. probably something to do with the OS being invalid in some way, or Quake being incompatable with vista.

note: not only do I not like vista..I don't usually help people who admit using pirated software..
advice: don't mention that your vista is a pirate cracked version.. expect serious problems with it at the first round of updates.

 

Its not pirated I bought a copy of it and used a program to make it Ultimate. Its half pirated lol.

 

Anyway I think I am just going to get rid of Vista and go back to XP...AGAIN. I had a problem on XP where when I tried to run the game after installing it would open the splash screen turn the screen black and go back to the desktop. I think all I have to do though is update it to the latest version.
