i have a friend who uses princo and low quality media for his backups and after a while the dvd stuffs up. half way through the movie it freezes randomly and has lines of bars across. mine dont cos i use verbatim and TDK. im wondering if i burn his low grade media discs with frezes and stuff on it to my high quality verbatim disc will it still have freezes and still be stufed?

If you try this you may still end up with skipping. When ripping his poor quality disc the actual data may be damaged, corrupt or just un-readable. Playing dvds are more touchy to disc errors than ripping but you won't know for sure until you try it

You may try burn to harddisk first to check.
