I am looking to replace my dual vcr/dvd recorder since I am not happy with its quality. I am interested in the newer technology, such as time slip (which allows the user to watch a recording from the beginning while the recording is still being performed). What size hard drive is recommended for storing a week or two's worth of programming. Any known glitches with certain brands?? Any particular web sites worth checking out?? Any information would certainly be helpful. Thank you!!
For research try cnet. Do a Google search, or look at what is being sold currently at circuit city, best buy, even walmart. Once you zero in on something you are intersted in then look at the comsumer reviews or people that have purchased the product and have or have not had problems. Trust me, when something doesn't work, people will be heard. Panasonic is really making a good product now. But every company has a lemon. Buyer beware.
