Hi, i back up quite alot of my dvds and i was wondering why its not possible to get 100% burn quality playback on all dvds. Especially seasons. Most of the time im lucky to get a 60% copy quality. How can i up the quality without copying the main movie.

Only back up the main movie files and use something like Nero recode, ratDVD, or DVD Shrink w/DVD43 to remove extras like subtitles and other audio.

Because hardly any are DVD-5 anymore they are mostly DVD-9, and compression is needed for it to fit in a 4.7 gb blank media dvd.

    g-dizzle,
by the way, what blank media did you end up buying?
