I assumed that cables.xml that comes with commando 8.20 covers the whole of the uk. yesterday i tried to scan for someone in southport and the fast scan seemed slower than normal and when all 31 transponders had finished it had no sky sports 1 or 3 and some other channels missing.
the image is fine and the bouquets and service files wont make any differentce to this. also i tried update bouquets and create new when i scanned.
    any ideas?

yes its exactly the same image i used just copied from one box to another. ive done it with many other boxes. always worked
Ive set the location the exact location is fomby but the postcode is a liverpool postcode, but its not that because if you set a wrong location it wont find any transponders at all and will just say transponder scan finished successfully after about 5 seconds. This scans but only finds 217 tv channels and should find about 278. ill mess around with the location setting on my own dbox and see if i can get it to find less channels by setting a wrong location then i will know if thats what was set wrong. i just cant see it being this
