Its on a Sony for Handycam dvd-r AccuCORE 30 min 1.4 gb Mini disk....I have tried using dvd shrink while running Anydvd and without running it, and I have tried using dvd fab with no luck. It gets to 99% then tells me an error occured.....What can I do to copy this?

    Is the disc finalized?

You might have to have the CAM finalize (close) the disc.

The message I get when doing dvd shrink when it gets to 99% encoded it says "Dvd shrink encountoured and error and cannot continue...Failed to read D:\...The request cannot be confirmed because of an I/O device error"

Did you give it back and ask them to make sure. I have seen this problem come up before at this site and it uasly is due to it not being finalized.

I did not give it back to him. I saw him last night and he told me it was definetely finalized. If theres nothing else any one can think of I'll give it back to him and ask him to double check for me. Thanks again

I have edited CAM DVD's allot and I have never had any problems with ripping the disc to HDD unless it isnt finlized. So I cant think of anything else unless the disc is scratched/dirty or your DVD-ROM just has a problem reading that brand of media.
