Question about lt 3.0

    Is the latest lt 3.0 firmware just for use for a ripping drive or is there a version for regular use? If so which file would it be in the firmware folder for a lite on DG-16D2S 8 series v1.

    LT+ = for flashing your 360's drive so it will play backups.

    0800 = for flashing a Lite-On or BenQ drive to use as a ripping drive.

    Burner Max = for flashing a Lite-On DVD burner in order to burn XGD3 games without truncating them.

    Okay so would the latest firmware for my Xbox be LTPlus-838v1.1.bin in the firmware folder

    Nope, the one you want is LTPlus-0251-v3.0.bin.

    I don't think the firmware you're talking about is even LT+ 3.0, so make sure you have the correct firmware pack.
