I just purchased an Apex 40" HDTV 1080p. I'm planning on using it as a monitor/tv by just switching input when i choose to.

I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for the best way to hook this up. I'm running a EVGA GeForce 9800GT 512mb w/ Intel Q9550 Quad Core 2.83ghz. I currently run a 24" Sceptre LCD Flatscreen Monitor.

I was planning on using a VGA cable to connect the TV and the Computer and am wondering if this would allow me to run the maximum resolution of the TV, 1920x1080.

I don't have an HDMI port on the Graphics card or the motherboard, any ideas or suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

Do you have DVI ports on the video card? (I don't care about what is on the mainboard) If you do, and you have two DVI inputs on the TV, then you can get a cable or adapter to convert DVI to HDMI. If you have to go with VGA, it would only be a slight loss vs. using DVI...the resolution should be fine, but the blacks won't be as black, and the colors won't be as rich.
