I am in the process of buying all of the parts, so that i can build my own new computer, as i am sick of using the "family comuputer". I have pretty much decided on everything i want but i cant figure out whether it would be better to get an eVGA GeForce 7800 GT CO (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1696711&CatId=0)
    or 2 eVGA GeForce 6800 XT's (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1699665)

I would GREATLY appreciate any suggestion, etc.

    -Thnx a bunch!

P.S. - These cards would be used for gaming with games like Doom 3, Quake 4, FarCry, COD2, HL2, etc. and I would like to be able to run them on fairly high, if not the highest settings! Thnx

    eVGA GeForce 7800 GT

with an fairly standard AMD cpu like mayne 3200 and above or dual core u can set it to highest setting without getting any hiccups.
