    Hi all,

IMy friend has a Cisnet C133 model computer which has on board audio. We had to reload windows due to a bad virus and now we cant get the audio to work.

On board audio, as far as i know, should be enabled in the bios, which it is. I checked it myself. In device manager there is a yellow exclamation point besides Multimedia Audio Controller.

Cisnet.com offers no driver downloads and searching the net gave me no results. I was wondering if on-board audio requires drivers or is it all controlled through the bios?

We called cisnet and they said we have a faulty computer which is a bunch of bull so they were no help.

Appreciate any help or advice you can give me. Thanx all.

Try uninstalling it in device manager. If Windows has a builtin driver for it when you reboot it should install it fine.

Thanks for your response olyteddy. Yes I did uninstall the audio controller in device manager and rebooted. But it did not work. I still got the yellow exclamation point.

When i do a search online for a driver i always get pointed to a site advertising 'disk detective'. I mean, about 20 links i tried all took me to them. So i can't even search for a driver.

My friends daughter wants to play her games on her computer so i feel bad that i cant get it working for her.

Do you know of anything else i can try? I really appreciate your kind help.
