    Hi All,

I recently bought a samsung LE40M87 lcd tv. I have one problem i can't seem to understand.
When i turn on the TV the picture mode is set to Dynamic. there are three settings: dynamic, standard and movie. If i change the setting to standard or movie, in about 40 to 60 minutes or so, the screen automatially goes blank and then when it comes back on its back at the 'Dynamic' setting which i find to be too bright.

Has anyone encountered this or know what to do to resolve
    Thanks

I would just take the tv back to where you purchased it from if you're still in the allowable time frame to do that. This doesn't sound like anything normal.

Thanks for the inputs. I think it may have been in 'SHOP' mode?

i think its sorted now as it stays on the changes i've made now. Nowhere in the documentation does it say that SHOP mode can be changed form dynamic to standard or movie mode but that it will revert back after a short period. I hope this is the issue anyway.

    Thanks

Yea that's right, it was in shop mode. Here's what I found.
