Question about requirements for the sims 3??

    Does anyone have the sims 3 on xp with 512 ram or close to that and how does it run with that amount of ram?

    I want to get the sims 3. I have a very good Intel processor and good cpu speed. A very good graphics card but not a gig of ram which they say is minimum. However, they do say it may be able to still run but may have crashes. See below, my specs:

    I Have: 510 MB

    aside from the ram, which you should get at least 2gigs, you're running bare minimum. once you get more ram, you'll be able to play at low-medium settings. if you want all maxed out, you might as well do a new build.
