Question about Seperating Audio from a Video Source

    I am looking for a way to seperate the audio track from a video source, to create a usable audio track.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Mostly from DVD. I am familiar with converting a DVD to avi, divx, etc, just not sure how to seperate audio.

    To better explain what I need, I am looking to pull sound clips from a movie, to add to my phone for ringtones.
