All of the movies I burn are on dual layer disks for max quality, but there are some video_ts files that seem to be able to fit on single layer disks without compression, such as Waterboy and Jumper. Did I rip the movies the wrong way or is that normal?

There are some movies that will fit on a single layer Dvd.

I would estimate that over 50% of movies would fit on a single layer disc without compression if you use dvd shrink and use reauthor mode to do movie only. Need to get rid of all the unnecessary crap that the studios put on the dvd.

Would estimate that another 35% would fit on a single layer with less than 10% compression in reauthor mode doing movie only.
