Question about the sound in a DivX file made with VirtualDub

    i have finaly made a DivX file 558mb with great quality many many thanks for the help =)

    but i still got a little problem... there is no sound... i looked a little at the program ( VirtualDub) and found that i can select the Wav file under Wav audio
    i thought well thats propperly how to include the audio in the file BUT when i try to save the AVI file it sais

    current Video fram: 0/142235
    current Audio sample: 4096/273091200

    and it isnt moving any futher
    my question is now... is it a lockup of some sort or does it simply not show how many sampels it has done ?

    It depends a little bit. If you have used DVD2AVI as we (AfterDawn.com) instructed to use it with VideoCDs, you end up having a DVD2AVI project file and a separate audio file. In this case, you need to encode the audio separately with LAME or other MP3 encoder and then add it to AVI after both parts (AVI and MP3) have been encoded.
