hi guys, my Duo Q is due to arrive in 2 days, but i got the freeloader first. is the freeloader able to boot burnt games? I tried it with: Verbatim Mini DVD-R ( MCC 01RG20 ) Mario Party 7 USA burnt at 2x using Nero 6.6.0.8 It says "No Disc" after swapping. If Freeloader actually boots burnt games then i will adjust the pot after installing Duo Q on it.
sorry but free loader cant run burnt games, althought action replay and some other phiferals (SD card & BBA) can do that. but not freeloader
damn, wasted my money lol. since im gonna mod it it will be region free then freeloader is redundant. Edit: However, I am still concerned. Does the Freeloader say "No Disc" if i put in a burnt game? I wish to know if I will need to adjust the POT.
yep, it will always say that if you do that, the only way to find out if u need to tweak the pot is when u install the chip and test it there. more than likley you will need to adjust it anyway.
maybe u will get lucky and not need to but ive done it to 4 cubes coz none of them would read it fine, its no chore at all just aslong as you have a multimeter and a screwdriver your ready to go.
