Question on Larrys Guide

    A friend of mine was following the guide and he came across this step....

    BACKUP YOUR NAND!

    Bootmii as Boot2 will boot menu when Wii is turned on. Navigate using a Gamecube Controller or Power Reset.

    Bootmii as IOS will boot from Homebrew Channel Home button screen. Navigate using Game Cube Controller. If you do not have a Game Cube Controller then try using power/reset buttons to navigate the Bootmii menu. (if the power/reset button does not navigate the menu then you will need a Gamecube Controller).

    How to backup NAND:

    Select the icon with Gears to go to NAND settings.

    Select the icon with a chip with green arrow pointing to SD Card to backup NAND.

    I don't remember doing this step. IS it just the last step that needs to be done?

    You can do this anytime, but its preferably done before you install any custom ios.
