Gang I could use some advice from all of you. I recently had a MB failure and decided to build a new system. I am building a completely new system based on the AMD Phenom X4 CPU; which is a 64 bit processor. Not real sure what direction to go on operating system, I found a great deal on Windows Vista Ultimate 64 Bit version ( when bought with Seagate drive ) however I have a extra copy of Windows XP Pro SP2; I am really not sure which way to go. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. One of my concerns is uncompability on 32 bit software not running good. Also, Is it possible to do a dual boot with XP Pro 32 bit and Vista 64 bit?? Thanks for any help.
Why the Phenom? The original ones are terrible. Either upgrade to a Phenom II or use a Core 2 Quad instead.
