question on softmodding witn mem ory cards

do you need to have a specific memory card size and a certain brand or any?

 

just need an answer

 

was wondering if it can be 8mb,16mb,32mb or if it matters. the other thing is can it be a brand thta is not made by microsoft? like interact

 

I used an offical 8mb memory card (installer file is around 5mb)for all 3 of the xbox's ive softmodded,i cant say how reliable other brands are though since ive never tried them.

 

All cards work fine!

 

You do not even need a memory card. I used a homemade USB female to male contoller cable and an USB flash drive.

Yeah, they are easy to find though, I got Splinter Cell used for $5.00 at an EB Games. When ever I go to a game shop I put all the games that you can use to softmod right next to eachother.
