I don't know much about this but I have a folder that is named CD1 and also CD2 and the files which are contained inside have about 40 rar files that have part 1 2 etc. after them. If I try to opene each one it is the same file. I have been able to convert the entire file into a WMV file which I would like to be able to burn to a DVD and play on a home player. Someone mentioned VCDGear which I tried to convert the file from rar to MPG but of no use b/c it stated unknown source. I now have then in WMV files. I used Nero to try to burn them on a DVD but it says 20hrs to complete. There has to be a faster way? ANy suggestions? Thanks
http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/multiple_svcd_on_dvdr.cfm Use this guide and forget the WMV stuff. I used MPEG-VCR rather than TMPGEnc (quicker and simpler). Then I used Divx2DVD to convert to DVD, make sure you choose to force whatever region you're in NTSC (for US and Canada) or PAL (for most of the rest of the world).
