I have a question with burning video files to dvd and the transcoding process with nero. What is the fastest way to transcoding time as short as possible? Like with a windows video clip it will take forever to transcode a full movie, shold I convert the file using winavi converter then transcode, I hate waiting 3 hours for something to transcode for an 8 min burn and i didnt know if it would be better to use win avi first? Thank you

suggest you convert your file with vso divx to dvd which will make your file dvd movie or mpeg2 compatible , then burn with nero.

The speed of the conversion is going to depend on how powerful your pc is.

    What are your stats?

I got it, i just converted with winavi then burned with nero, cut off about an hour from the process. I have another question, alot of the videos i get are super shrunk when i convert and write to dvd. I have a 50 inch plasma that is widescreen and when i play the dvd it has like two black box's on the top and bottom. Is that in my settings, or is that with the files that i am downloading, and is there anything i can do to fix it a bit?
