    i have one ethernet port on my laptop. is there a way to add another one? so i can run xbox to the laptop and the laptop to the wall? so i dont have to do it wireless?

    Not sure? Maybe a splitter can help. If you're trying to FTP into your xbox you don't need an internet connection. Just buy a crossover cable, create a static IP for your PC and XBOX, use an FTP client (i.e. Flash FXP) and you're good to go.

    just use a router/modem they are getting quite cheap nowdays and you'll have 4 ports instead of 1

    That is a much easier route to go but it's up to you and how you'd prefer your setup to be.

    lol, yeah been a while. been starting a new job so I haven't really had much spare time.
