hi all.. i've been flashing many 360s , by now i learned to flash any drive except for the hitachi 79 and lite on.. anyways,, i lost the orig.bin of a benq drive, now i desperately need to flash it back to the original, i do believe that i can get the key out of the hacked fw by reading it,, what i am not sure about is 1) will some other benq drive's orig.bin work (after i inject the actual key in it) ? 2) just for a kind information,, even if it does work,, is there any binary key that has been changed any ways or all the benq orig.bin are exaclty same exept for the drive key..?? 3)just for a kind information again.. does this trick work for other drives 2?? i mean provided being the same drive brand... 4)restoring back to original after flashing a benq with a hacked firmware does help for not getting banned online... kindly help me with these few doubts,, just yes and nos will help (but from experts plzz) thanx.
As long as the firmware file matches the drive in front of you then it's fine.. I have done this many times putting flashed drives back to factory to start again with the key from the hacked firmware being injected into a stock file..
