i thought it might be interesting getting a projector rather than a plasma or lcd screen, so tried to do some research on it.

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824219051

how is that? i've read other reviews, some many seem to have positive feedback. i looked at 1080p projectors, but those are way too expensive for me because i dont plan on using it for 100+" screens.

also, does anybody recommend a good screen for me? what about those screens where its like a giant white rectangle that simply hang on the wall, like a painting. not those that hang on a chain from the ceiling and pull down. im okay with any screen really because they dont take any space, but im just wondering since those frame-like screens look cool.

and how would i get audio to work? i might watch movies on it, but dont plan on getting surround sound, maybe just some really good 2.1 speakers. i also plan on hooking this up to my ps3 to play games and watch blu-ray movies, but im confused how i can play audio through the speakers. usually i would hook up my ps3 to the tv with an HDMI cable and it will carry video and audio through to the tv, but in this case only the video will go to the projector.

also, ive read alot about how peoples bulbs went out quite fast. how would i accommodate this with air circulation? would i have to open it up and make sure there is nothing blocking airflow?

im pretty new to this so any suggestions would be helpful.

err, i basically wanted a 720p projector, as cheap as possible but with decent quality. its only probably going to be around 65-75".

    Hi,

but purchasing a large 120Hz refresh rate large screen LCD seems cheaper, better, and the way to go.
