questions on capturing

    Well my dad said he bought a tv out for this computer. Do u need a tv capture card to capture tv or can this capture too?? I cant seem to find the tv out software in the device manager anywhere. I dont know where it is located on the computer to connect the cord from the tv to the computer. Any help will be appreciated :)

    Yes, you need a capture/tuner card too, if you want to watch TV on the computer.
    If you want to watch the computer on the TV, then go into control panel, display, and set up the TV as the secondary display.
    Hook the cable from the second output on the back of the computer on the video card, to the TV (usually a yellow composite jack).
    You will also have to run a cable from your sound card out to the TV's audio in port.
