I'm totally ignorant about sat. I've heard about BIN and KEYS. Do you need a PC to download these bin files and keys and load them in your coolsat unit? I bought mine in June '06 and my unit has been out since July. I don't know what to do. Please help.
I suggest you join the forum I link to below. Its free to join. Then read all the getting started sections for your model. Coolsats are only working with a rom 102 card added. The bin file cardless fix has not been released yet. Everything is explained on their site. http://www.f2atv.com/ Jerry
but i would go with the viewsat box is the only one working cardless atm oh and sonicview aswell easy to load the bin and it autoroll the keys in other words itll get the newest keys for you. totalfta is the home of viewsat
@al_he_79, Although your information about Viewat is correct, the question here was about a Coolsat receiver already owned. Most people don't want to invest another $150. in a second receiver. Lets try to stay on topic and not hijack threads. Jerry
