I am a newb to the iPod scene and want to pick up a skin/protective case for my ipod. I ended up choosing the 6th gen 80gb classic video. Anyhow, I see alot of cases that advertise they will fit the 30gb/60gb/80gb video, and only some of those mention the classic. Are the specs/port placements on these the same and will these skins/cases fit the classic as well?? Thanks in advance for any help to save me from throwing $$ away on something that won't fit.
The ports and dimentions of the new classic are the same as the old 5 gen ipod, if you have a best buy or any big record store like FYE or something like that go and look at them and choose the one you like the best. i went for the clear hardshell case, it worlk great.
