I just receive my m3 lite + passcard3 today. I tried to update the firmware but it seems like I couldn't. Everytime I boot up the ds all I get is the health screen.

I have the passcard in the nds slot and the m3 lite in the gba slot. Am I doing something wrong?

first.. i'm assuming you can see the passcard3 on the game selection screen, right? if not, check to make sure the connectors are clean and if it still doesn't show up, something is wrong with that

if it says "start gba game" when your M3 Lite is inserted, then your M3 is fine

If it does not, check all connections, and if it still doesn't boot its time to exchange

yeah I can see the passcard just fine on the menu. I disassemble/reassemble and check the connectors several times. I think it's a defective unit. Time to send it back i guess
