Hi all please bear with me on this one as I need to get it right before I do anything and giving you the full details may help in getting a better response so here goes. I have 2 "the box super" one is api version 6.00e_E and the other is api version 7.08e. Now the first one with the api version 6.00e_E is working fine no problems but the new one I baught today with the api version 7.08e has scanned and stored the programmes but wont let me access the key emu menu. I have spoke to a lad I know who also had this same problem a few months back and he told me I had the wrong software on the box and would not be able to access the key emu menu with api ver 7.08e on the box. with me so far?! Anyway I have tried the usual "menu 1570" and "parental control, info 2004 and 2007" and still it aint working and was wondering if I should downgrade the new box and load on the api ver 6.00e_E onto it as I still have the disk. This is where I need your help people. Do I need to delete the software that is already on the box or is it simply a case of doing a restore factory settings, turning the box off, plugging it into my pc and loading the software onto it. Will this just automatically overwrite the software already on the box?? Just asking and want to make sure because If I get this wrong there will be no way I can return the box to where I got it from to let them sort it out and to make matters worse they are now closed till 16th June so cant do anything till then even if I wanted to!! I know I have gone on but any help will be recieved with very much thanks. Thanks people
