Quick Question about Rankings

So I've become alot more active on this site as of recently. I've come to the conclusion that I sort of want to change my display name.


As you can see I'm a Junior Member.
How does the ranking system here at afterdawn work? is it based on how many posts? Or actual time of being a member?

I just want to know because I've been a member here for a couple years now.

One last question, do posts in Tech support count toward overall posts?

Oh and one last thing to add. I just checked to see if the counter does include posts from the "tech support" section.

And it doesn't . Figures really ahaha, where I spend most of my time.
