    Im thinking about joining the mac family, but the question is what kind of software do I have to use to rip and burn on a mac.

    rip dvds with handbrake at handbrake.com
    burn iso stuff like that with the disk utility that comes with it
    toast titanium is also good

    you can also try FastDVD Copy. easy to use and copies PS2 games as well
