Quicktime Probs.

    I want to install QuickTime Alternative but it wont let me beacause i had regular quicktime before and i guess i didnt delete it prop.! so when i go into control panel- add remove file and try to delete the quicktime it says: file does not exist or not valid uninstallation log file. what do i do to delete and fix this prob.!?! please help thanks

    You could try re-installing QuickTime and then uninstalling. As I understand it though QT Alt is just quicktime's codecs, along with Media Player Classic and Cyberlink's dshow QT wrapper filter. If you already have QT installed, then you don't need QT alt, just MPC and cyberlink's filter.

    Best way to playback quicktime mov's though is without quicktime at all. MPC has a built in mov splitter and ffdshow can decode Sorenson, MPEG-4, AVC, aac, QDM2, etc.
