I know that you could encode your .mov to an .mpeg with Adobe Premier, but it certainly isnt free. Windows movie maker will not import a .mov. But it will an .avi.
I have converted Quicktimes to .wmv and .mpeg with Premier.

    Hi there,

I'm very sorry that DivXtoDVD didn't work for ya (.mov)

I tryed it once with a .mov and I also had a weird message, but I was sure it was just that one file.

Reason I have suggested DivXtoDVD to you, was based on this, from their website:

    Key features :

    - Support DivX, Xvid, Mpeg4, Mov, AVI, WMV video format and much more

Maybe it will support .MOV when the Official Shareware v1.00 comes out.

    Sorry again !

sorted the problem. I took my .mov file and used adobe encore to import it. This program is specificall yfor creating dvd's so once i had my frame rate and resolution set it just imported and encoded it as a dvd file. Simple as that.
