    I got a weird one for you. Dma is set to auto in the bios and in windows 64 bit device manager to let bios select mode of transfer. But according to nero its not.

    === Scsi-Device-Map ===

    DiskPeripheral : ST380021A nvata64 Port 0 ID 0 DMA: Off

    CdRomPeripheral : LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-1693S nvata64 Port 0 ID 2 DMA: Off

    CdRomPeripheral : COMPAQ CRD-8322B nvata64 Port 0 ID 3 DMA: Off

    What gives? I dont get it. Its a epson mobo with amd 3700+ and using windows 64 bit pro trial. Any ideas? Im not having a problem, but just dont understamd why its saying its off...when its actually on..lol.

    dunno if they should normally be on or off BUT they are nvidia ports so you'd reinstall the motherboard drivers if you had a problem..

    Ok thanks. I was thinking that maybe see Im using the nividia drivers instead of microsuck...that nero couldnt recognize as dma is on or off. But I was curious if I was right. In the bios it says auto...maybe I should try forcing it manually.
