Qustion?

If i'm posting in the wrong forum please point me in the right direction.

The question that I have that I'm trying to get clarification on is

I'm have my xbox 360 soft modded.

Can microsoft detects that and ban you from xbox 360 when you go online with backup games.

or if it's when you have the mod chip they can detect and ban you i have been looking around forums but i can't get a clear answer

If the 360 is like the original xbox, the way that you get banned is if the hard drive is not locked or if the eeprom doesn't match. The xbox has an indicator light that will turn red if it's not safe to go on XBL, but I'm not so sure about the 360. I've never modded one. Hope that helps, but you might want to try the other forum just in case.
