r4 card question

    are these r4 cards compatible with the original ds or do i need a nintendo ds lite?

    Do not get anything with R4 in the name, there are loads of better options, M3Real, Acekard, EZ Flash, CycloDs. There are just too many cards all calling themselves R4 (40+)all with different firmware and most are very poor.
