R4 cart for DSI?

    I have a feeling i cant but just wanna check with you guys first...

    My daughters DS broke and i had a R4 cart for it.

    She wants a DSI for xmas and i was wondering

    1. Will the cart work on the DSI?

    2. If not, can it I download firmware to make it work on a DSI?

    If your cart is an "i" version , it should work with DSi .

    If it just is R4 DS or R4 SDHC without "i" , it can't work with DSi no matter what firmware you use .

    Had a feeling that would be the answer, mine is a R4 Revolution (NSDL/NDS)

    I'll just have to get 1 with an I
