Ok, so the games that came on it work fine. However, I cannot do the following: 1. Add new games. 2. I've deleted games from the card, but it hasn't changed the available free space. I noticed this when I tried to put all the deleted games back on- no room! Am I just doing something wrong in deleting the games (simply right click and delete)? Is there some special trick to this? I updated the kernel to see if that would help- nothing! I'm new to this, so please help me out!
I delete games from my r4 in exactly the same way that you've explained and have had no bother doing so. It could be a faulty memory card that you have inserted to your r4. Have you tried formatting your memory card?
I believe it was already formatted, as there were 57 games on it already. I was trying to delete some old games from it so I could put something more fun on. However, deleting the files did not seem to affect the free memory space, and so I couldn't add anything new.
