R4 Sdhc card help

    Hi I recently bought an R4 SDHC card Ive a 2g micro sd chip but cant seem to get it working at all.Does the R4 SDHC take this chip?

    Sometimes the R4 card sometimes doesn't seat very well in the ds slot. Try jiggling it around a bit.

    When I put the r4 card in the ds i get a picture of a sim card with a question mark in the middle of it
    Im a bit lost as to where to go from this point

    Is the card formatted as FAT32? Did you put the firmware on it?

    What firware does it take and were do i download it from

    I tryed that The same thing is happening to me still sim card with a question mark on it and says menu.I was reading the box it came in and that says 4g-32g does that mean it dont take 2gig micro sd also I was looking at a video on youtube and I noticed that the _DS_MENU.DAT file and the _DS_MSHL.NDS file had a picture on there icons when they were extracted to the micro chip.Mine only has a blank page for an icon would that have anything to do with my problem thanks for your help

    It is quite possible that you sd card is not supported. But you probably have a clone r4 card. Here is a site that gives you links to all sorts of clone firmware. The only problem is that if you don't know which card you have, trial and error is the only way to go. But, you could get lucky and find the right kernel right away.
