Hi . I have purchased the r4i v1.4 with a 4gb flash card for my daughters dsi console. It matched the console version. I cannot get it to opperate. Have followed preceedure but I think Iv'e missed the train. Have installed lots of software in desperation. Initially, I installed the 'kernel' files and 'moonshell'on asumption they were correct. At one point the console showed the r4 logo, but thats it, no sign of executing what I had on it. What I actually have is, based on my packaging...r4i in red. dsill followed by v1.4 in a sun sticker. Under that it reads: R4 DSILL 'UPGRADE'. REVOLUTION FOR DS (DSILL/NDSI)NDSL/NDS. It's a blue box somewhat bigger than a packet of cigs.(new packaging I think) I would appreciate some serious sorting...and hopeing it's not a 'dupe' Many thanks if someone can help. redken

Put a piece of folded paper or thin card between the DS and the cartridge to push the contacts together 6) Unless it specifically says - the unit can take up to 2GB micro SD's, if it says SDHC then it can take up to 32GB 7) Ensure the clock is correctly set on the DS - this upsets some R4's 8) At the firmware stage do not put any roms on, get it past the loading issue first. Once past the loading issue put 1 known good rom on and see if you can get it to run (some firmwares will boot on other cards but will not run a rom) Good Luck
I saw this r4 advertised once and copied the site maybe its your r4 I don't know check out the site. It shows a blue box with r4i in red and DSi LL has kernel download v1.45b I hope it helps you. www.ndsill.net
