Hi, has anyone else had bad dealings with the website www.r4deals.co.uk? i bought alot of ds one supercards from this site from which all of them froze or gave me black screens.. but this is not the problem, after contacting the seller he asked that i send the faulty goods back to him which in total was 27 DS one cards with 4gb SD cards. after sending them back to him he has just totally ignored all my emails and has just kept the returned cards without sending replacements or giving me any refund, the total cost of this being £600stg at which im out of pocket, so my advice to anyone looking to buy any DS cards is AVOID this seller at all costs, the cards are cheap fakes and you will only end up being ripped off by this seller anyway, but i was just wondering has anyone else had trouble with this seller?? thanks in advance for any replies
How did you pay pal? did you keep proof of shipping the goods back? all may not be lost dont just let them walk away, if you sent special delivery or recorded or simmilar depending on which country you in (im in uk) you may be able to still get your money back, ill nosey into guys details for you all the best kk

hey man , thanks alot for your help, yeah i got recored delivery and paid with paypal but they only deal in the original transaction in which he sold the items to me, they dont deal with what happens after which i found really strange, it is really annoying as he asked me to send the items back to him in the first place
try this place for supercard dsone, very fast delivery, no fakes. www.ds-one.co.uk i shopped there before and had recommend to others on this forum, all happy customers.
nope thats not correct you must phone paypal and tell them you have not recieved goods, tell them came you sent back and have proof of postage ive had that before myself and got money back,,also paypal keep note of all this stuff and will strike him off if pattern forms call them and explain in detail if no joy call your credit card company or bank and have the payment reversed that way, you have legal rights here call trading standards ect if need be just dont give up mate, thats what they want!! kk
you mental seen there prices? and an all too familiar looking website from a name we all come across before, its and im not being racist but the chinese sellers (these guys are full of eastern promise but ends there) seem to be worse of the ds cards and dont seem to understand our mentality and how we expect things to work and prices on site you saying are ridiculous,,, swing over to dundeechipshop.co.uk they dont have much in all on order but lot cheaper by at least £8 - £10,,,
i just pop over to your site, only two card is on sale. £22 for r4+4gb, £20 for dstt+4gb not exactly a great price but its uk base so its safer. but i did a quick google search and find http://www.pcjerry.co.uk/r4.html does it cheaper. you said you not being racist but yet you passed judgement on the store by the owners chinese name?? I have bought many times from him and i know people here in this forum also bought from him, with no complaints. Edit, oops..my mistake, pcjerry's r4 is cheaper but not with 4gb. its £23 in total.
i use pc jerry as well but other guy local and bought modded wii off him and lets me pick up,,so bought some more cards off him, he says he has more on order and will be reducing prices on some and that will be getting many differing ones in time but sells mostly r4, but yes pc jerry good but not cheaper? r4sdhc from jerry with 4gb is around £24 (dundeechipshop £22) all in and the tt is £23 +£1.30 (dundeechipshop £20) all in but does not include the usb reader another £1 odds so how you work out its cheaper? reckon you are that site you pushing maybe? lol but do the math and reckons he will have m3 with rumble packs ect around £10 cheaper than anyone else, also seen his 4gb memory cards and got few from him (dundeechipshop) and were all genuine in packets with leaflets the works and class 6 so think i know real bargain but hey each to there own, but im using them as local and i pickup and even if were not id use paypal anyway,,as to jerry again hes tops and i use him and again pay by paypal,,, so ive no need of anyone else now and ive had few rough deals...and jerry aint got any r4sdhc at moment yes i have to admit name put me off and yes it is bit terrible but you have to understand its been few years of bitterness in this game but all smiles now
ps thats jerrys tt that comes with no usb reader just to be clear dundeechipshop does contain the usb reader
nah mate,, i aint pushing pcjerry or any sites.. u r right, i made a calculation mistake. theres lots of people on this forum mention this is good and that is good,, but 'hey each to there own' like you said. I dont mean any offence to the website you mentioned. edit,, forgot to add, dealextreme has been recommend on here and over at gbatemp alot, but some users complaints they are too slow. i use them sometimes if in no hurry.
yeah been nosing at them but always worried about customs, i buy few at time and have had them snatched from customs as due to a law in japan on unfair trading they have basicaly outlawed these devices and can grab and destroy them under some law or other last time was hong kong where as im sure you know they are, also got hammered with tax on 20 psp from hong kong but should not moan as had 100s before that and think they watch for my parcels lol so just buy uk myself now plus dont think i could handle the stress of waiting and being ignored it seems to be bit of lottery but there prices goddam wish they were here lol some of them defy belief and was gonna get few 8gb sony memory sticks but seen they very slow, and that was posted on there site so seems like pc jerry they let you say good or bad stuff which in my books is always a plus,, take care pal and cool was not offended nothing gonna stop me smiling ever again (i hope lol lol) alough it is freezing here and bit snowy (but that will all change when get this dandruff under control and get dressed lol lol) outta here all the best and good luck pal and post here if you find real bargains and any more info on dealex would be great
In the same boat mate but not for that ammount of cash. R4 Deals have rubbish/no customer service,doesn't exist apart from the customer service they provide for taking peoples money. I had an order for some ds cards and 1 was faulty,no probs i thought so i emailed them...no answer,emailed no answer ....on and on it went. Then finally got a reply,sent the goods back and waited,emailed..no reply,sent more emails,no reply,then finally sent a really nasty email and my goods turned up..yep the faulty one arrived back with a note saying he doesn't sell this type and i'd bought it elsehwere(i think thats what it said anyway) I left a bad review on his site about poor customer service,they deleted it and my account login,created new account left feedback,same thing deleted on and on lol Leave poor feedback and see for yourself,but save your order details etc before you do Tried paypal but he'd waited that long that after 45 days paypal won't do anything about it now,he knows how to keep cash through paypal customers.Resolution centre in paypal is where you dispute transactions,like i said if its after 45 days forget it. I will contact paypal and let them know they collect money for a crook but i doubt they will do anything.I did send a request money to them through paypal. Good luck with it and keep at them,slate them every where you can,they hide behind the internet but they can't run away from the internet,obviously stay within the law and only state what you can prove but get the message out and let them know you are costing them money lol Anygood safe sites for these would be nice as i'm still trying to buy my nieces christmas present TIA
Hi jimbob thanks for the reply,i got back onto paypal and they said the usual stuff, i think they have robots working for them to be honest,you can never get a straight answer out of them,just paypal policies! do you need the site to buy DS one card for your niece? i get the DS one card now from a very good seller in hong kong with sandisk 4gb SD cards, if you are looking for this i can give you his email address,i pay in euros but i think its around £25 for the ds one supercard + 4gb sandisk SD card
PS if you sent your stuff back to bracken hall road,that actually looks like an end terrace house to me.
jimbob you must still tell paypal as they cant do anything but record stuff like this building file on seller and may restrict or remove his privelages,,, anyone else after say 10 or so days and false prommises you should start complaint straight away. safe places to buy are likes of pc jerry and dundeechipshop both will deliver very fast, both out of stock at moment i think but worth wait cheapest of 2 is dundeechipshop but as said 100% trustworthy and both take paypal, ive dealt with them all over last few years and traded in these cards on l;ocal leveland all the same but these 2 head and shoulders above the rest, dundeechipshop guy 10 mins away from me and ive picked up from him also and hes 100% as was the wii i got from him, jerry i bought and came within 2 days they again so what they say on tin not supprised they ssell out a lot
I had a completely different experience from McDonalds. I have placed 9 orders of r4 from them in last 3 months. always cheap, good service & replaced one return for me very quick as well. I don't know why you guys had bad experience with them, but once my package did not get in time and they helped me with royal mail chasing my packet.
this above has the dodgy look of the person being complained about posting this themselfs or am i getting too cynical in my old age? going on what other poster said and about deleting his account and saying they dont sell what he sent back id say your posting looks dodgy, only time will tell but id swerve them anyway prices terrible
actualy mary r4 you refer to on jerrys site does not take 4gb? thats the r4 v2 and only takes upto 2gb you need the r4 sdhc which if you look takes you to around £24 all in just thought id point this out so as not to be misleading
Yes they ripped me off last month i ordered numerous r4 chips and they sent them without a problem. It was when i didnt recieve a parcel the trouble started. They said that it got lost in post they gave me a parcel number which royal mail said it was not even on their system could not trace. They then ignored my emails time after time they didnt want to know. The site lets you pay through Paypal which i did and today i recieved my refund they managed to get back the funds. I don't normally join and write threads but i don't like low lifes who rip people off so please keep clear from them.
